Teri Halio, MSPT, CSCS | Board Certified Physical Therapist
Teri has been working in the fitness and wellness industry for over 25 years and has been a licensed Physical Therapist for 16 years. She graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Physical Therapy and is a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist through the National Sports and Conditioning Association. Teri opened Balanced Motion Physical Therapy 9.5 years ago. Prior to this she worked as a staff therapist at Emerson Hospital.
"My area of focus is treating orthopedic populations - from injury and postoperative rehabilitation to preventative treatment and management of orthopedic issues. I also specialize in the treatment of pregnancy aches and pains, and post-partum recovery.
My goal is to help men, women and children improve their everyday functioning, reduce or eliminate pain and learn how to prevent injury and treat themselves."
Teri is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Laura Nejame, PT | Board Certified Physical Therapist
Laura joins Balanced Motion Physical Therapy after spending the past 21 years at Emerson Hospital where she was the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Supervisor. Over the past 21 years she was instrumental in the success and growth of Emerson Hospital’s Westford Outpatient Facility, helping the clinic grow from 4 Physical Therapists into a multi-disciplinary Clinical Team of 25 Clinicians. Prior to working at Emerson Hospital Laura was the Manager for the Celtics Trainer at his facility in Wellesley for 4 years.
Laura has special interest in all Sports Medicine injuries, shoulder injuries, post-op care, treatment of adolescents, and treatment of both neck and back pain patients.
Laura played Division 1 soccer at Boston University.
Outside of the clinic Laura loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, golfing, and working out.

Nate Felton, DPT | Board Certified Physical Therapist
Nate has been a Physical Therapist for 5 years and has been involved with healthcare for the past 13 years. Over the course of his training and career, he has worked alongside therapists specializing in pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, manual therapy, and scoliosis management. Surrounded by this eclectic mix of therapists has cultivated an ongoing curiosity for the ways in which PT can improve the lives of patients and clients at all points along the movement spectrum. He is currently interested in functional movement screening to better address how people can safely return to sport as well as daily life.
In his off time, Nate enjoys hiking, biking, rowing, chess, music, and snow sports.

Amy Erich | Front Desk/Billing Specialist
Amy E has been with BMPT for one year helping welcome patients into the clinic and assisting with the insurance and billing portion of patient care! Outside the clinic she loves to spend time with her family.

Kelsey Halio | Front Desk
Kelsey joins us during the summer and vacation weeks to help with the front desk and reception. She is an upcoming Sophomore at Connecticut College studying Dance and Chemistry. Kelsey is interested in pursuing a career in some aspect of the health industy with a current intrest in biomedical engineering. Outside the clinic, Kelsey is a diver for her college swim and dive team, an avid dancer and loves hanging out with her family, cousins and friends.
